The Farmington Scorpions softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Bloomfield Bobcats to 2 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Farmington moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Scorpions host Aztec (Aztec, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 4. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-1.
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 3. Bloomfield will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
