Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Holly Springs for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7.

With the loss, West Johnston falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
