In Friday's non-league battle, the Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA), by a count of 10-9.
Coming up next, the Acorns clash with the Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 8. Live Oak will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 16-7 non-league loss to California (San Ramon, CA).
