North Forsyth Raiders (Cumming, GA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders confront the Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA) in a 6A Area 8 challenge, on Tuesday, March 7. North Forsyth will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Shiloh (Snellville, GA).

The Wildcats now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gainesville for a 6A Area 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. Apalachee will confront a Red Elephants team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA). The Red Elephants record now stands at 7-2.
