In Friday's league battle, the visiting Eastwood Troopers soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Americas Trail Blazers.
The Troopers (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Socorro (El Paso, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region 1 District 1 battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Socorro was nudged by Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Trail Blazers (3-15) will now prepare for their battle against El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs come into the 6A Region 1 District 1 battle with a 12-7 record. In their last battle, El Dorado nudged Coronado (El Paso, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.
