Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Godley Wildcats (Godley, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Yellowjackets face the Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, March 7. Ferris will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 1-0 league win over Venus (Venus, TX).

The Wildcats now have a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alvarado for a 4A Region 1 District 6 challenge on Friday, March 10. Godley will face a Indians team coming off a 3-0 league win over Ferris (Ferris, TX). The Indians record now stands at 10-10.
