In Friday's league battle, the host Palacios Sharks soccer squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Hallettsville Brahmas.
The Sharks (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Raiders come into the 4A Region 3 District 22 battle with a 5-15 record. In their last battle, Rice Consolidated nudged Wharton (Wharton, TX), 4-3, in a league battle.
The Brahmas (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Ricebirds come into the 4A Region 3 District 22 battle with a 13-8 record. In their last battle, El Campo was overwhelmed by Calhoun (Port Lavaca, TX), 4-1, in a league battle.
