The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 3-0 league win over San Benito (San Benito, TX).

The Panthers now have a 0-14 record. They take the field next when they host Hanna for a 6A Region 4 District 32 challenge on Tuesday, March 7. Weslaco will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-8.
