Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Crockett Cougars (Austin, TX), 16-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lytle for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. Blanco will face a Pirates squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Poth (Poth, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Crockett falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Northeast Early College (Austin, TX) to face the Raiders in a 5A Region III District 24 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-3.
