The Burleson Elks softball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Midlothian Heritage Jaguars to 4 in the Elks league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Burleson moves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Elks host Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX) to clash with the Jaguars in a 5A Region I District 8 game on Saturday, March 4. The Jaguars come into the game with a record of 0-1. Mansfield Summit lost 14-5 in their recent non-league game against Molina (Dallas, TX)

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Centennial Spartans (Burleson, TX) in a 5A Region I District 8 test, on Saturday, March 4. Midlothian Heritage will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record.
