The Eastwood Troopers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Chapin Huskies to 2 in the Troopers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Eastwood moves its record to 9-8 on the year. The Troopers host El Dorado (El Paso, TX) to clash with the Aztecs in a game on Tuesday, March 7. The Aztecs come into the game with a record of 6-9. El Dorado lost 6-3 in their recent non-league game against Parkland (El Paso, TX)

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the Franklin Cougars (El Paso, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 4. Chapin will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 4-9 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Hanks (El Paso, TX).
