Patrick Henry Academy Patriots (Estill, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cross Episcopal Stingrays (Bluffton, SC), 10-1 in a league challenge.

The Patriots now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Beaufort Academy for a SCISA AA Region I challenge on Tuesday, March 7.

With the loss, Cross Episcopal falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Stingrays host Whale Branch (Beaufort, SC) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
