California High School Softball - Fountain Valley topped by Huntington Beach

The Huntington Beach Oilers softball squad scored 13 runs and restricted the host Fountain Valley Barons to 0 in the Oilers league victory on Friday.

The Oilers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Vikings go into the Sunset battle with a 7-0 record. In their last battle, Marina topped Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA), 10-2, in a league battle.

The Barons now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Corona del Mar for a Sunset battle on Monday, March 6. Fountain Valley will meet a Sea Kings squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to El Dorado (Placentia, CA). The Sea Kings record now stands at 0-5.
