Hardee Wildcats (Wauchula, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lake Placid Dragons (Lake Placid, FL), 10-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Palmetto for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. Hardee will face a Tigers squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Manatee (Bradenton, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Lake Placid falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Sebring (Sebring, FL) to face the Blue Streaks in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. The Blue Streaks enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Sebring won 9-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Clewiston (Clewiston, FL)
