Texas High School Softball - Jefferson can't get by Highlands

The Highlands Owls softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Jefferson Mustangs to 4 in the Owls league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Highlands moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Owls host Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 27 game on Friday, March 10. The Mules come into the game with a record of 11-11. Alamo Heights won 5-2 in their recent league game against Burbank (San Antonio, TX)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the MacArthur Brahmas (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 game, on Tuesday, March 7. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Brahmas come into the game with a 9-10 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to East Central (San Antonio, TX).
