The Pike Road Patriots routed the host Pike County Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Patriots (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hueytown (Hueytown, AL). The Golden Gophers go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record.

The Bulldogs now sport a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Elba for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 9. Pike County will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 22-0 non-league win over McKenzie (McKenzie, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
