Wesson Cobras (Wesson, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cobras now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren Central for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 7. Wesson will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Florence (Florence, MS). The Vikings record now stands at 4-5.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 4. Salem will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 7-2 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS).
