The Sharyland Rattlers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Vela Sabercats to 1 in the Rattlers league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Sharyland moves its record to 2-9 on the year. The Rattlers host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a 5A Region IV District 31 game on Wednesday, March 15. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 9-5.

In their next game, the Sabercats clash with the Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 game, on Tuesday, March 7. Vela will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 22-2 league loss to Pioneer (Mission, TX).
