The Anson Bearcats baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Lake Norman Christian Lions to 5 in the Bearcats non-league win on Monday.

The Bearcats now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chesterfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. Anson will play a Golden Rams team coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Darlington (Darlington, SC). The Golden Rams record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Lake Norman Christian drops to 0-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Grace Academy (Matthews, NC) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. The Lions go into the test with a record of 1-2. Grace Academy lost 11-2 in their recent non-league test against Pro Stock Royals Academy (Charlotte, NC)
