The Rebels now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Heidelberg for a 2A Region 8 test on Monday, March 3. Richton will clash with a Oilers team coming off a 21-1 non-league loss to Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Oilers record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Heidelberg drops to 0-3 on the year. The Oilers travel to Laurel (Laurel, MS) to clash with the Golden Tornadoes in a non-league test on Monday, March 3. The Golden Tornadoes go into the test with a record of 2-1.
