The Martin County Gators (Williamston, NC) baseball trounced the host Hertford County Bears (Ahoskie, NC), 13-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Gators now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beddingfield for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. Martin County will clash with a Bruins team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Hertford County drops to 0-3 on the year. The Bears host Bertie (Windsor, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Bertie lost 10-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC)
