The crowd at Monday's non-league battle between the Spring Garden Panthers (Spring Garden, AL) and the host Valley Head Tigers (Valley Head, AL), saw Spring Garden's baseball team gain a win over Valley Head by a tally of 11-1.
The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Gaylesville was overwhelmed by Chattooga (Summerville, GA), 9-4, in a non-league contest.
The Tigers now possess a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Asbury for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 6. Valley Head will face a Rams team coming off a 23-13 non-league loss to Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL). The Rams record now stands at 1-7.
