Fans at Monday's league battle between the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) and the visiting Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC), saw South Aiken's soccer squad triumph over Brookland-Cayce by a count of 6-0.

The Thoroughbreds (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Airport (West Columbia, SC). The Eagles enter the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Airport was overwhelmed by Aiken (Aiken, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bearcats confront the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 battle, on Thursday, March 6. Brookland-Cayce will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 8-0 league loss to Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC).
