Fans at Monday's league battle between the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) and the host Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), saw Gray Collegiate Academy's soccer squad triumph over Midland Valley by a count of 8-0.
The War Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Yellow Jackets enter the AAAA Region 4 battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, North Augusta was overwhelmed by Gilbert (Gilbert, SC), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 battle, on Thursday, March 6. Midland Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bearcats enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 6-0 league loss to South Aiken (Aiken, SC).
