In Monday's non-league match, the host Franklin County Bulldogs softball team scored a nice 15-4 win over the Tylertown Chiefs.

The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS). The Blue Waves come into the 3A Region 7 match with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Chiefs battle the Perry Central Bulldogs (New Augusta, MS) in a 3A Region 8 match, on Tuesday, March 4. Tylertown will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS).
