The Goshen Eagles softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Highland Home Flying Squadron to 9 in the Eagles league win on Monday.

The Eagles now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Luverne for a 2A Area 4 battle on Tuesday, March 4. Goshen will confront a Tigers team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Long (Skipperville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Highland Home moves to 0-4 on the season. The Flying squadron host Park Crossing (Montgomery, AL) to confront the Thunderbirds in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 6. The Thunderbirds come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Park Crossing lost 16-1 in their recent league battle against Pike Road (Pike Road, AL)
