Alabama High School Softball - Hokes Bluff bounces Piedmont

March 3, 2025: Piedmont, AL 36272

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Hokes Bluff Eagles (Hokes Bluff, AL) and the host Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL), observed Hokes Bluff's softball team notch a victory over Piedmont by a final score of 17-6.

The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the 3A Area 11 bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Glencoe gained a win over Wellborn (Anniston, AL), 10-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 4. Piedmont will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 4-2 non-league win over West End (Walnut Grove, AL).
