Next, the Tigers meet the Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Monday, March 3. Southeast Lauderdale will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 23-1 non-league loss to Quitman (Quitman, MS).

The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Tigers enter the 3A Region 5 challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Southeast Lauderdale was routed by Northeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS), 14-3, in a non-league challenge.
