The Neshoba Central Rockets overwhelmed the host Vicksburg Gators softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Rockets meet the Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) in a 6A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, March 4. Neshoba Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Titans go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Yazoo County (Yazoo City, MS).
The Gators (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Germantown (Madison, MS). The Mavericks go into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Germantown toppled Warren Central (Vicksburg, MS), 10-0, in a non-league challenge.
