The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Vidalia Vikings (Vidalia, LA) and the host Rayville Hornets (Rayville, LA), observed Vidalia's softball team notch a victory over Rayville by a final score of 19-4.

The Vikings (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Buckeye (Buckeye, LA). The Panthers go into the 3A District 2 bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Buckeye gained a win over Grant (Dry Prong, LA), 7-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Block Bears (Jonesville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 4. Rayville will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 0-6 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, LA).
