In Monday's non-league test, the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs (Millbrook, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats (Montgomery, AL), by a tally of 12-4.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Elmore County Panthers (Eclectic, AL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 4. Stanhope Elmore will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 3-1 record after their 17-6 non-league win over Marbury (Marbury, AL).
The Wildcats (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Montgomery Catholic (Montgomery, AL). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Montgomery Catholic was routed by Opelika (Opelika, AL), 8-2, in a non-league test.
