California High School Baseball - Centennial nips Clovis East

In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Centennial Golden Hawks baseball team scored a close 8-7 win over the Clovis East Timberwolves.

The Golden Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Clovis North (Fresno, CA). The Broncos go into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Clovis North nudged Bullard (Fresno, CA), 8-7, in a non-league match.

The Timberwolves now have a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morro Bay for a non-league match on Thursday, March 5. Clovis East will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Mission Oak (Tulare, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-1.
