Texas High School Baseball - Muleshoe defeats Sundown

March 3, 2026: Sundown, TX 79372

In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Muleshoe Mules baseball team scored a close 12-6 win over the Sundown Roughnecks.

With the triumph, Muleshoe advances its record to 6-4 on the season. The Mules travel to Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 3A Region I District 2 match on Tuesday, March 10. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 6-7. Roosevelt lost 20-2 in their recent non-league match against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX)

The Roughnecks now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sudan for a non-league match on Saturday, March 7. Sundown will battle a Hornets squad coming off a 13-10 non-league loss to San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 3-4.
