The Lions (8-9) will now prepare for their match against Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX). The Cougars come into the 5A Region 3 District 22 match with a 14-3 record. In their last match, Fort Bend Kempner nipped Tomas (Richmond, TX), 3-2, in a league match.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they host Victoria East for a 5A Region 3 District 22 match on Friday, March 6. Lamar Consolidated will meet a Titans squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Titans record now stands at 6-15.
