Alabama High School Softball - Pace edges Gulf Shores

In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Pace Patriots softball team scored a tight 2-0 win over the Gulf Shores Dolphins.
The Patriots (5-0) will now prepare for their game against North Bay Haven Academy (Panama City, FL). The Buccaneers enter the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, North Bay Haven Academy edged Wakulla (Crawfordville, FL), 4-3, in a non-league game.
The Dolphins now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fairhope for a non-league game on Thursday, March 5. Gulf Shores will play a Pirates squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 3-2.
