The UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs triumphed over the visiting Rain Red Raiders softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs play the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals (Fairhope, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 5. UMS-Wright Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Blacksher (Uriah, AL).
The Red Raiders (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Vigor (Prichard, AL). The Wolves enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Vigor was routed by St. Paul's Episcopal (Mobile, AL), 17-1, in a league battle.
