North Carolina High School Softball - Weddington bounces Sun Valley

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), observed Weddington's softball team prevail over Sun Valley by a tally of 15-0.
The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars go into the Southern Carolina 6A/7A bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Charlotte Catholic was routed by Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC), 8-4, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a Southern Carolina 6A/7A bout, on Friday, March 6. Sun Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 13-3 non-league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).
