The West Stanly Colts softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Mount Pleasant Tigers to 0 in the Colts league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, West Stanly moves its record to 5-0 on the year. The Colts travel to South Caldwell (Hudson, NC) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league game on Monday, April 5. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 5-0.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Central Academy of Technology and Arts Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A game, on Wednesday, March 31. Mount Pleasant will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Cougars come into the game with a 0-5 record after their 14-5 league loss to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC).
