The Scott Beavers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Ulysses Tigers to 2 in the Beavers league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Scott improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Beavers host Holcomb (Holcomb, KS) to clash with the Longhorns in a GWAC game on Tuesday, April 6. The Longhorns come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Lakin Broncs (Lakin, KS) in a Hi-Plains game, on Thursday, April 1. Ulysses will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Broncs come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 19-14 league loss to Stanton County (Johnson, KS).
