The Lamar County Trojans baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Southwest Patriots to 0 in the Trojans league victory on Wednesday.
The Trojans (14-4) will now prepare for their match against Dodge County (Eastman, GA). The Indians go into the AA Region 3 match with a 7-9 record. In their last match, Dodge County was overwhelmed by Lamar County (Barnesville, GA), 8-5, in a league match.
The Patriots (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Central (Macon, GA). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 6-9 record. In their last match, Central was overwhelmed by Jackson (Jackson, GA), 16-4, in a league match.
