South Carolina High School Baseball - Mid-Carolina can't hold off Newberry

In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Newberry Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Mid-Carolina Rebels.
The Bulldogs (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Eau Claire (Columbia, SC). The Shamrocks go into the AA Region 3 game with a 0-0 record.
The Rebels (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC). The Griffins go into the AAA Region 4 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Fairfield Central tipped Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC), 15-5, in a league game.
