Virginia High School Lacrosse - Robinson bounces Alexandria City

The Robinson Rams lacrosse team scored 20 points and limited the host Alexandria City Titans to 1 in the Rams league triumph on Wednesday.
The Rams (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Herndon was overwhelmed by Fairfax (Fairfax, VA), 15-8, in a non-league game.
The Titans (4-1) will now prepare for their game against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions enter the Patriot game with a 1-0 record.
Game Summary
The Titans were unable to come up with the win tonight, falling to an excellent Robinson High School team 20-1. The Rams were just a step ahead tonight, but the Titans fought until the end, scoring their lone goal with 7:30 left in the game. Despite difficult conditions, goalies Jay Andersen & Fiona Donovan combined to make 12 saves and helped slow the Rams attackers.
