In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting N.C. School of Science & Math Unicorns soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Raleigh Charter Phoenix.
The Unicorns (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC). The Firebirds come into the Super Six 1A/2A battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Falls Lake was nudged by Granville Central (Stem, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Phoenix (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Research Triangle (Research Triangle Park, NC). The Raptors come into the Super Six 1A/2A battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Research Triangle nudged Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC), 5-1, in a league battle.
