Upland Highlanders/Scots (Upland, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Chino Hills Huskies (Chino Hills, CA), 7-6 in a league challenge.

The Highlanders/Scots now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poly for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 9.

With the loss, Chino Hills falls to 6-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) to battle the Cougars in a challenge on Friday, April 1. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 1-6. Rancho Cucamonga won 14-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Walnut (Walnut, CA)
