The Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) softball routed the visiting Cocoa Beach Minutemen (Cocoa Beach, FL), 17-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs (6-3) will now prepare for their bout against Space Coast (Cocoa, FL). The Vipers go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record.
The Minutemen now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Astronaut for a bout on Wednesday, April 6. Cocoa Beach will confront a War Eagles squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Satellite (Satellite Beach, FL). The War Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
