The Cocoa Beach Minutemen walloped the host Merritt Island Mustangs lacrosse team by a final score of 16-3 in Wednesday's league match.
With the win, Cocoa Beach betters its record to 9-2 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL) to play the Green Wave in a non-league match on Thursday, March 31. The Green Wave go into the match with a record of 2-7. Father Lopez won 8-5 in their recent league match against St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, FL)
With the defeat, Merritt Island drops to 1-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Edgewood (Merritt Island, FL) to play the Red Wolves in a 1A D7 match on Saturday, April 2. The Red Wolves go into the match with a record of 3-6.
