Blacksburg Wildcats (Blacksburg, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal (Simpsonville, SC), 17-2 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chester for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 1. Blacksburg will battle a Cyclones squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, SC). The Cyclones record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Brashier Middle College Charter falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bengal travel to Greenville Hurricanes (Greenville, SC) to battle the Hurricanes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 2. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
