South Carolina High School Softball - Lamar holds off Darlington

March 30, 2022: Lamar, SC 29069

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Lamar Silver Foxes (Lamar, SC) and the visiting Darlington Falcons (Darlington, SC), witnessed Lamar's softball squad tip Darlington by a count of 16-14.

The Silver Foxes now sport a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hannah-Pamplico for a A Region 5 match on Friday, April 1. Lamar will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Lake View (Lake View, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.

The Falcons (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Seahawks come into the AAAA Region 6 test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Myrtle Beach by North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC), 13-1, in a league test.
