The Wilmington Greyhounds softball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting Farrell Steelers to 0 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Wilmington moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Greyhounds travel to Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA) to clash with the Sailors in a District 10 Region 1 game on Thursday, March 31. The Sailors come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Steelers clash with the Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 game, on Tuesday, April 5. Farrell will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
