North Carolina High School Softball - South Point knocked off by Forestview

March 30, 2022: Belmont, NC 28012

In Wednesday's league contest, the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), by a margin of 18-2.

With the triumph, Forestview moves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Jaguars host Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to play the Storm in a Big South 3A contest on Tuesday, April 5. The Storm come into the contest with a record of 8-2.

In their next game, the Red Raiders play the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) in a Big South 3A contest, on Monday, April 4. South Point will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC).
